By straining your senses to their limits, and really making the effort to really study your surroundings, you can pick up on all manner of clues that you might otherwise miss. Such a high state of alertness is simply too tiring to maintain for long periods of time however, and is best used only when there may be real cause for alarm. Hyper Alertness allows you to boost your Awareness by +2 for three turns, at the cost of 1 point of Willpower - but can only be activated in your own turn.<br />
