This spell improves on the efficiency of [[Rush of Life]] by drawing life-force from its caster and transferring it directly to its target, rather than needing to convert magical energy. Instead the [[Power]] invested in the spell serves only to channel and control the flow of energy, leading to a more stable and less dangerous effect.

Since the caster is fully prepared for the life-drain the spell inflicts on him, this damage does not include a [[Shock]] component, but is instead 100% real damage – all of which can then be passed to the target as healing.
