New page

A Fumble is called whenever the 2d6 roll associated with a [[Skill Check]] or [[Stat Check]] results in a natural 2. Fumbles are considered an automatic failure, and provoke a second roll of 2d6 to determine the Fumble's Severity. Severity is a rough indication of just how disastrous this failure was - with higher results indicating a worse failure in this instance.

The exact consequences of a Fumble are always left up to the GM, but the Severity and the action being attempted should always be taken into account, with low Severity Fumbles normally indicating a simple fail, while mid to high Severity Fumbles can result in amusing, humiliating, damaging or even deadly consequences - depending exactly what was at stake.
