The Dreaming Forest was a dense and largely unmapped jungle that was once part of the [[Plane]] of [[Endaraen]]. Generally believed to be haunted and certainly extremely dangerous, most travellers went to great pains to avoid it - with the lone exception of the mysterious [[Azansakk]] [[Lizardmen]], whose city of [[Solnaz'sa]] was reputed to lie somewhere inside.

Since the cultures living near the forest were loath to ever actually explore it, instead it became a rich source of fable and legend and many monsters, artefacts, heroes and villains were said to have originated there. One especially common myth was that the lost [[Dunoln]] city of [[Olnaleas]] was located in the heart of the jungle and that it was the source of the spirits and monsters that roamed the land.

During the [[Eighth Age]] the Dreaming Forest was swallowed up by the [[Wild Sea]] - leaving a seething lake of pure [[Chaos]] behind.
