The Bringers of the Black Knife are a sect of assassins active on [[Endaraen]] who worship [[Sulansis]] in her aspect as the breaker-of-bonds and believe that even death is preferable to servitude.

Factions within the Bringers often differ over when the 'final release' of death should be given to those who have been subjugated, but it is not unheard of for the sect to outright murder slaves, prisoners or even indentured servants if they will not consent to being freed.

Although not strictly affiliated with either [[Law]] or [[Chaos]], the Bringers often form alliances-of-convenience with Chaos-worshipping factions such as [[Fate's Welcome Embrace]] and are frequently opposed to nominally lawful groups such as the [[Chorus of Remembrance]].
