This highly-specific warding spell is created from the blood of its target and creates a barrier that causes him intense pain as he approaches it and inflicts damage should he decide to actually cross. The barrier takes the form of a glowing red line, normally on the ground (although it can be drawn on any static surface), with the length of the line dependant on [[Power]] (Barrier Length) and the shape the line describes chosen by the caster – though one end must begin within Creation Range of the caster. The barrier effect extends a short distance above the line, defined as Barrier Height – crossing the barrier above this height allows the target to completely ignore its effects.<br />

As the spell's target comes within Barrier Width of the ward he suffers the listed Proximity Strain, applied constantly until he moves away again. If he crosses the line itself, he also suffers the listed Crossing Damage. The spell requires no more than a drop of blood from its target in order to be cast, but that blood must be reasonably fresh.<br />
