Blackmaws are quadrupedal, with a squat stance and feet that are both clawed and webbed. They have a streamlined shape and a long tail, and are well-suited to swimming. Adult Blackmaws typically grow to about half a metre in length. <br /> <br /> They derive their name from their black tongue and teeth, which they display prominantly when threatened.
