This highly useful form of Metamagic extends the caster's senses partially onto the [[Astral Plane]], allowing him to sense [[Spells]], [[Spirits]], [[Astral Beacons]] and [[Astral Tags]] just as easily as physical objects. The exact sensory properties of any given Astral phenomena are somewhat arbitrary – since of course a spell does not actually have an appearance, sound or smell as such – in general Astral Sense simply assigns sensations in a fashion that (hopefully) make sense to the casting mage.<br />
