Sulaim Human.

Like any people we have had our share of triumph and disaster, we have been victim and aggressor. During the early part of my mortal life, and for many centuries before, we had clearly lost our way however – we had become pawns of Sulansis and we did more harm to ourselves in our pointless worship of that mad god than we ever did to our enemies. Now that those dark times have passed, we have hope once more and we have achieved much during my long life, but there is a long road yet to travel.

No. In my youth I worshipped Sulansis, but since I betrayed her and began to walk my own path I have followed no god.

I have no compact with any god, but I do draw power from my lord Benethyarr when the situation demands it. Our connection is a very strong one, allowing me to match most divine angels. It has become evident to me in the years that I have served as his agent that Benethyarr's powers are much greater than most would suspect, though in truth even I do not know their full extent or source.

I was an adept sorceress while mortal. When my mortal life ended and I was returned to life by Benethyarr my powers grew considerably thanks to the power I was able to channel from him. Over the centuries since then I have honed my skills and made myself worthy of the title that I claim. I an knowledgeable in most fields of magic, but I have always had an especially keen understanding of Teleportation. My knowledge of Manifestation and other spiritual and demonic magics is also profound and is matched by few indeed.

I am both master and servant to the Cult of Blazing Shadows. They act in my name, but also they may call upon me when they are in need and be assured that I will come. They are my eyes and ears, spread throughout Reshomme.

No. It has been centuries since I lost Lanyss and I will take no other in her stead.

Benethyarr. I am bonded to him not because I have no choice or because I lust for power, but simply because I trust him. I do not claim to know all his secrets, but I know that he cares for all mortals – and that the Sulaim have a special place in his heart.

I most often travel alone. Upon occasion I meet with my lord Benethyarr, and sometimes I speak with Aesha Lehtranna and Bade who were once mortal but now are Dragons. I respect them. Once we were bitter enemies, but in time we became strong allies and we achieved much together. These three are the closest I have to peers.

Sulansis is my greatest enemy. She is strange and mad and scarcely seems to know who I am, but I have fought her servants many times, and even direct manifestations of her from time to time. I have no particular desire to overthrow or destroy her, but I will not allow her to enslave my people ever again.

To see the Sulaim recover the richness of happiness and culture that I believe they once had and finally be out from the shadow of Sulansis for all time.
