An [[Angel]] of tremendous power, the Angel of Alas was the greatest of all angels and both her number of worshippers and raw magical ability outstripped those of several minor [[Gods]].

It is generally assumed that the Angel of Alas was once [[Humanity|human]], although nothing is known of her origin or even her true name. Since [[Alas]] herself remains aloof from events on the [[Core Plane]] it would seem that the angel directly inherited many of her worshippers and a portion of her power.

She appeared as a pale-skinned and beautiful woman, dressed all in black and with long black hair. She had delicate wings that seemed formed of folded darkness and bore a long, slim, black sword.

The angel was finally slain by [[Starenkeen]] during a recent battle at [[Hightemple]] in [[Karantas]], although her death brought forth the [[Black Citadel]] - which seems to suggest that the Angel of Storms was merely a pawn in her plans.

Followers of the Angel of Alas follow the [[Code of Alas]]. Her symbol is the Ascended Blade; a sword with a pair of wings growing from its guard, all in black.
