Yhn’So’Van

Yhn’So’Van is a vast area of tundra that makes up the bulk of the Treyenar nation of Yhntal. Although far from barren, Yhn’So’Van is a frozen and wind-swept land with few trees and little rainfall. Much of the land is locked in permafrost, though in some areas the soil melts into bogs during the brief summer months - allowing certain species of fish and birds to thrive.

Despite the harsh conditions, the coldest extremes of winter are actually felt in the Yhn’So’Tal to the south - and Treyenar settlements still dot the land, often surviving by herding the hardy Mahhsomat.
