This significantly enhanced version of Drain Life smoothly integrates the stolen life-energy into its caster's blood stream, preventing him from suffering any Shock as a result of the spell's healing effect. In addition the spell is less dependant on direct contact than its predecessor, and will work through clothing or armour. Both the caster and the spell's target must posses blood in order for the spell to function however. Once the spell is cast, any person touched by its caster, or who touches him, becomes victim to the spell's life-draining effect – after which the spell ends.
