The Harrowing

Directly east of the Heart of Chaos lies The Harrowing, a broken and scarred land where nightmares become flesh.

The land itself is less desolate here than in some parts of Varys, with shrubs, grasses and even a few trees still clinging to life - but there are no animals to be found - excepting those monsters that burst into being spontaneously from the twisted imagination of Chaos.

Experienced crusaders say it is not these horrors that are the true danger of The Harrowing however, but rather those hidden terrors that every man carries inside him - which here can become all too real, and all too deadly.
