By briefly slowing the natural flow of life energy within its target, this spell attempts to trick their body into shutting down – causing them to fall asleep on the spot. Once the spell is cast, any person touched directly by its caster, or who touches him directly (must be skin-to-skin in either case), is targeted by the spell's sleep effect – after which the spell ends.

If the target's Physique is greater than the Maximum Physique Affected by the spell, then it does nothing - otherwise the target falls asleep at once unless they are successful in resisting the spell. Sleep is easier than normal to resist, with its target receiving a +2 bonus to their check.
