Shen Grai

The Shen Grai is the most commonly seen species of Drake in and around urban areas; these adaptable animals are something of a pest around most settlements in Amethgare and survive primarily by hunting vermin and insects and scavenging from Human leftovers.

Thanks to an uncanny knack for finding their way into Human buildings the Shen Grai also have a well-founded reputation as food-thieves and have also been known to hunt domestic animals such as chickens.

Shen Grai vary in colouration from almost black, through slate-grey to a chalky, whitish colour. They average about 50cm in length, from nose to tail.

Like all Drakes, Shen Grai are capable of flight – however they are notoriously poor at it, and have a reputation for being clumsy and accident-prone.
