By bracing your lance against your body and relying on your mount's charging momentum rather than your own strength you are able to deliver a devastating blow with a lance or spear. Damage for this attack is calculated using the average of your mount's Movement and Strength stats in place of your own Strength. Lance Charges are difficult to Parry because of the sheer momentum involved, applying a -3 penalty to defences of this kind. Only weapons that list the Lance Charge move are suitable for performing it and, for reasons that are hopefully obvious, it can only be performed while riding.
