Karita Mountains

The Karita Mountains form the eastern border of Caradhaen, dividing that cursed and shifting land from the more stable Lahrus Plains in the east. The northern tip of the Karita runs into the longer and higher Yvha range, with the ruined stronghold of Vahkastus marking the meeting point. Just south of the Karita lies the great walled city of Kahrad'Akhan which neatly controls the strip of land between there and the Bone Waste further to the south.
