Jyrantaal

Jyrantaal, or The Jyrantaal, is a large area of southern Endaraen that was once home to a number of states, but is now notable for being the largest desert on the plane.

Earlier in the Ninth Age, Jyrantaal was struck by three devastating droughts which transformed what was once a landscape of rich grasslands into a dusty and almost lifeless land of salt-pans, dunes and arid hills.

In modern times the Jyrantaal can be broadly divided into two regions - the Jyrantaal Highroads and the Deep Jyrantaal.
