Guide Fire creates a tiny ball of brightly glowing fire that hovers about under its own power, darting to and fro to illuminate specific areas at its caster's direction. Additionally Guide Fire can be commanded to crash into a designated target, exploding on impact and inflicting fire damage on a small area. Unfortunately the spell is also rather volatile and will explode if it receives damage sufficient to destroy it. As is perhaps obvious, exploding brings the spell to an end.

When attacking or evading attacks the spell uses its Flying Skill Total as the base for its skill checks. Its attack counts as melee, though parrying is not useful since this will still provoke an explosion. Dodges made by Guide Fire are counted as Aerial Dodges. Guide Fire is a small target, and attacks against it suffer from a -4 AM.
