Golden Path

The Golden Path is the name commonly given to the path forged by Schiraman and Taramis in the Third Age that leads from Karonleas, at the very edge of Reshomme, out into the Wild Sea itself. The path consists of a series of Pylons, each of which somehow stabilises the Wild Sea nearby - causing semi-permanent Planes to develop there. Although these planes appear and disapear, and are sometimes greatly changed from one appearance to the next, they are nevertheless vastly more stable than the rest of the Wild Sea and in many respects are quite similar to Planes of the Fringes.
