This advanced throw technique uses your opponent's own strength and momentum against them, not only defending you against their attack but also damaging and disabling them. Defensive Throw is effective against any attack that can be defended against by either Parry or Escape, although it has a -3 AM. If successful Defensive Throw totally negates the attack and also inflicts the full effects of a Throw attack on the opponent. When calculating damage for a Defensive Throw the opponent's Strength is used in place of the defender's, in addition a charging opponent's Movement is added to their effective Strength.
