Battle-Cry

Prerequisites: Intimidation 4, or Intimidation 2 and Melee Combat 4

You have perfected an impressive battle-cry that will strike fear into the hearts of lesser men. This technique affects any enemies within earshot, forcing them to make a Resistance check with difficulty equal to your Intimidation check. Any foes that fail their check begin to fear you and receive a -1 AM to all attacks or defences they make against you for the next 3 turns (or a -2 for 5 turns if they Fumble their check).

If you have recently (on this turn or the turn before) injured a foe then any enemies that saw you strike receive a -1 to their check, if you have recently killed a foe then any enemies that saw you strike receive a -3 to their check. Repeated use of a battle-cry on the same opponents has no further effect after the first attempt, unless you carry out a suitably impressive action (typically injuring, killing or otherwise demonstrating how dangerous you are) in-between.
