Basic Dark Channelling

Prerequisites: Spellcasting 4 and Simple Dark Magic

Grants you access to a new Channel aligned with the element of Darkness. This Channel provides a variable amount of Power ranging from one point to half of your Stealth Skill (round up).

The Power available at any given time is measured as a percentage of your maximum and is related to your current behaviour - increasing when you are quiet or hidden and decreasing when you make your presence obvious. When all around you are unaware of your presence (or at least cannot currently pinpoint your location) you have 100% Power, when your location is obvious to those nearby or you are not attempting stealth at all you have 0% - with intermediate states providing a sliding scale in-between. Always round up fractional amounts of Power and remember that the Channel produces at least one point of Power at all times.
