They are unusual in that they do not offer training in magic to their members, and as such it is a rare Dragon warrior who can cast even basic spells; and that they eschew the worship of deities, despite acknowledging their existence.

The main [[sect]] of the [[Noble Order of the Dreaming Sword]], the Silver Blade Sect specialise in magically adept light infantry. Generally the Silver Blade deploys its troops as scouts and skirmishers in support of other orders, although it is not unknown for it to mass troops into true armies in times of crisis.
