A magical staff owned by Knight Lanaric Kael. It had the capability to 'contain' bound spirits, allowing Lanaric to draw on their magical power for his own use. Lanaric had a bad habit of attempting to put any wandering spirit into his staff; however it originally contained two demons, Loram and Seth, who was assimilated by Loram.

He was somewhat aided in this by Aesha Lehtranna, who felt that killing him would be a rather poor return for his earlier assistance at the Tower.
