Ability Type: Spell, Difficulty 18
Provided By: Advanced Aquakinetics
Spell Type: Elemental, Water
Form: Contained
Function: Teleport, Defensive
Power Cost: 2 to 6
Duration: Fleeting
Notes: Reflex
This spell forges a short-lived path through the Elemental Plane of Water, allowing its caster to step instantaneously between two distant points – so long as both are covered either in mist or water. The caster does not need a line of sight to his destination, he simply provides a distance and direction – however if the indicated point is unsuitable, either because there is insufficient room or it is not mist or water-bound, then the spell fails. Mist Step is especially useful since it can be cast reflexively, allowing its caster to escape attacks by casting it.
Maximum Teleport Range: 5m x Power (between areas covered in mist or water)
