Duncan Kaerano

Avatar of Solandria, the Goddess of Light. Duncan is a powerful magician and a very skilful warrior: in addition his unique bond with Solandria allows him to channel vast amounts of divine power, greatly enhancing both his physical and magical capabilities. Despite his power, he is a selfless man and is most concerned with protecting those in need.

Duncan was born in Thalas and was identified as having an important role to play when he was just a child - thanks to the distinctive patches of silver skin that surround both his eyes. Divinations to Solandria suggested that these marks meant he would one day be her chosen agent on Teth and Duncan's entire upbringing was orchestrated with this in mind. Because of these same marks, Duncan is sometimes known by the nickname of 'Silver Eyes'.

Although he has something of a reputation as a womaniser, Duncan is currently involved in a steady relationship with the Sorceress Aesha Lehtranna.
