When two animals love each other very much, but aren't sure if their potential offspring will best benefit the farm or herd, that's when someone with the Animal Breeding Ability is called for - to determine if theirs is a match made in the Heavens, or whether they are star-crossed lovers doomed to be kept apart by sturdy fences. Also handy when two animals don't love each other very much but really should learn to lie back and think of Mantoni in order to serve the greater good.

Characters without this ability suffer a -3 penalty to Farming & Herding: Animal Handling checks when attempting to plan or influence breeding in domesticated animals, or carry out related tasks such as birthing young.
